New Golfweek Results Word Template Available
(6/3/04) - In order to create more available space for tournament results in Golfweek each week, we have implemented a new design. In order to better expedite the submission process, I have created a new Word document which simulates the new layout (located in the Operations section). Please send in the event results by Sunday at 6pm EST to using the new template. Please try and only send the information as it exists in the template.
New Signage Available for Download/Printing
(4/12/04) - Now available in the signage section will be a printable scoresheet with hole by hole detail (as opposed to the summary sheets). If you wish to use these you must have the wholesaler in your market print them out as needed. Also, by the end of today, there will be Hole Sponsor sign templates available for customization by your wholesaler.
Special Rate for Golfweek Subscriptions Via ULTRAgolftour.com
(3/3/04) - All members (and even non-members) may subscribe to Golfweek Magazine via the ULTRAgolftour.com site and receive a 40% discount off the retail price. The weekly subscription normally retails for $80/year and, through our site, you can get a year for only $50! The form will be live by end of day 03/04/04.
Tour Player Handbooks Completed and Available
(3/3/04) - As of today, the 2004 Player Handbook is available for distribution. Currently the electronic version (Word format) resides on the Extranet. There will be a downloadable link placed on the Tour Web site for players to access as well. We are defining the logistics of this and should be available by the end of the week (03/05/04).
Due to the logistics of distribution and potential for edits, the Handbook will not be printed in bulk and delivered. The most updated version will reside online for download and printing locally by the Tour Director (if they wish) or the Player.

Tour Registration Parties
(1/26/04) - A great way to recruit new members is by having a few registration parties in your area prior to, and during the Tour season. First, select a venue and date that enables you the highest amount of exposure. Generally, popular night spots such as restaurants or bars work very well. Contact your local wholesaler on recommendations for prime locations and times. Once the venue and date is solidified, generate interest by emailing your contacts list (current members and potential) and advertising as much as possible locally. Inquire with the wholesaler about 'dressing' the retail establishment with Michleob ULTRA Golf Tour signage, etc.
At the party, try and have as much signage as possible in view of a majority of the establishment. Have plenty of brochures, membership sign up sheets and some giveaways. Ask the proprietor or manager about offering some compimentary appetizers and/or specials on Michelob ULTRA to attract interest as well.
The more registration parties you hold in your area, the more exposure you get in the community, and more opportunity for signing up new members. Post your comments on your experiences with registration parties in the Best Practices forum on the Tour Message Board.
